IGT Testing Systems Printability Tester for Offset, Flexo, Gravure

Is a tool to check and analyze the suitability of ink colors and printing materials before the production process on Offset, Flexo, Rotogravure, & Corrugated printing, so that with this printability tester, packaging printing can save time and costs because the color suitability process does not have to be done on a printing machine.
All measurement results are presented in a report with PDF format, so that the data is more accurate and easy to share with related parts.

Introduction
IGT C1-5: Offset Proofer to produce colour prints with conventional and UV offset inks. Dedicated proofer to produce colour prints of conventional and UV offset inks. Available in versions with print width of 50 and 70 mm and with multiple prints on one substrate. An adapter is available to print directly on metal cans or tubes or the special version CTx3 can print on any diameter of tubes and cans from inner diameter 16 mm up to 68 mm.

Makes prints of 45 mm width. Consists of a printing unit with an exchangeable engraved printing form, a doctor blade assembly and an impression cylinder. Printing speed and printing force are adjustable to get the printing results correlating with printing press.

For ad-hoc tests the Orange Proofer is the most efficient method of checking the colour of offset inks on various substrates.
IGT has been very successful in supplying printability testers for Flexo, Gravure and Offset inks to various industries around the world. Because of the large demand for a low cost, easy to operate printability tester for offset inks, IGT has developed the IGT Orange Proofer for highly reproducible results in those cases where the tester is not used 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For the heavy-duty applications the use of the C1 tester is recommended.

Electronics Tester F1

IGT F1: Proofer for flexo inks. Can also be used for gravure prints.
The IGT F1 is a universal flexo proofer for use with solvent based inks, UV inks and water inks on a range of substrates. The F1 is available with facilities for printing on corrugated board and for gravure printing.

Features
Driven anilox roller, to ink the anilox roller independently. The F1 consist of a combined inking unit with doctor blade, anilox roller and a printing unit with printing form and impression cylinder. Especially developed to print strips with flexographic ink. Gravure mode for gravure ink.

-Impression cylinder and engraved disc are automatically brought under pressure, printed and lifted.
